ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

icon

Meet the World of Mollusca

We are honoured to present you our private collection of sea shells Glossus Humanus. As our collection increased over years and as the biodiversity decreases daily we felt obliged to offer our treasure to public and spread admiration we have for marine life and its preservation.

We've thoroughly selected each masterpiece of the nature and prepared great selfguided tours for our visitors. Let this website give you an impression of what awaits you at the temporary exhibition. Pinacoteca itself is framed by valuable collection of paintings, sculptures and church liturgical dishes. Among the many valuable works of art stand out icons of St. Nicholas from the 15th century and the works of the great Croatian painter Vlaho Bukovac.

5/5 on Google

Really loved our visit to this exquisite museum. The thousands of beautiful shells come from all corners of the globe. Collected and curated as a labour of love by one family, it is an absolute gem and a real reminder of what is at stake if we don't protect and love our seas. Stunning. Can't recommend highly enough.
